For The Love Of FOOD

January 14, 2011

Please enjoy this random assortment of all my favorite foods as of late! 🙂

I still haven’t got over my sweet potato obsession. And I think it’s only sky-rocketed. You see, I made Cocoa Roasted Sweet Potatoes and holy yum, we are exploring new waters here folks. A sweet potato just can’t be a sweet potato anymore unless it’s cocoa roasted, I am fully on board with the cocoa roasted taters!

This White Chicken Chili from Erika is to die for. For realz. We didn’t have any green chiles, so I used a can of Rotel. Mmm, it hit the spot. My mom said “Kayla, make this all the time!”.

Jessica’s waffles! They are so good, I’ve made them about, oh, 4 times already.

Oil-free, sugar-free what’s not to love? I love the texture that comes from the cereal, in my case, Fiber One. I blended until it was in little pieces since I didn’t have millet!

I made them for my mom and brother (the picky one), for breakfast yesterday and they were simply raving about them!

Home made pizza. It just doesn’t get better than that. Toppings were scarce so I got a little creative: parmesan cheese, red onion, spinach, olive oil, garlic, and salsa. It was quite a different combo but it worked. It really worked.

My love, omelets. My favorite filling right now is broccoli and a Laughing Cow cheese wedge. Topped with salsa + plain yogurt = pink sauce! I lurve pink sauce.

The peanut butter cookies are only getting better with time. Ahh, seriously I can’t stop eating them.
