Funniest Search Terms

March 11, 2011
tags: ,

You guys totally make my morning when I read all your lovely, thoughtful comments! I can’t thank you enough!

***

Another fun thing about having a blog? Reading through the search terms that people use to get to my blog!

There have been some hilarious weird ones! Here are my favorites (with my comments on the side).

No, I did not make any of them up!

are all blueberries gritty ——————–> not that I know of!

weird fried rice ——————–> did you find what you were looking for?

granola cubes

tinkerbell earings

“skippy natural” stuffy nose

mysterious note

i’m nuts

too much gnu fiber

describing violet turning into a blueberry ——————–> oh, this?

home made chipper ——————–> um….wha?

misshapen bread ——————–> oh yes, I remember that!

oatmeal fried rice ——————–> that just sounds gross.

hard do bread recept

my math binder

little miss healthify blog blocked? ——————–> Why, yes it was! Thanks for noticing :)

can you have too much fiber

kayla’s almonds

can u put hummus on a chicken salad sandwich ——————–> I put hummus on an egg salad sandwich…is that good for ya?

weird oatmeal recipes  ——————–> I think this is telling me something :)

minty oatmeal kayla

nibs are blended ——————–> Oh wow. I remember doing that.

i am lookeing for a sugar free chocolate ball recipies ——————–> Here ya go!

And here’s the killer:

old lady cutting grass naked ——————–> Um….wha? Yeah… I really don’t want to know.

I really really don’t know how that last one led to my blog, of all places.

MOVING right along…

Yesterday for a little snack I just had to make Katie’s Cake Batter Milkshake.

Yum, it was so good! I added about 1 Tbsp. cashew butter and a few drops of almond extract. Did it taste like a cake batter milkshake? No, not really. It tasted like a frozen banana with sprinkles! But hey, it was good. :)

I’m on Twitter and Formspring now, just in case you’re into that stuff!

Don’t you hate it when you just had a really good dream but you can’t remember it? This happens to me way too much.

Haha a banana with sprinkles. Hey, that sounds better than cake batter to me! ;)

Love your search terms. Mine are usually kinda scary, and involve nakedness, and people covered in chocolate. Yikes…

    • March 11, 2011 10:40 am

Oh my gosh, and I thought that last one was weird! :)

  2. March 11, 2011 10:27 am

Hahaha, my search terms are never that amusing!

  3. March 11, 2011 10:57 am

Love this!! I was just thinking about some of the funny search terms I’ve had lately. Today someone found mine by searching “terrible ombre hair”.

  4. March 11, 2011 11:00 am

    That shake looks deelish!
Those search terms are hysterical! =D

  5. March 11, 2011 11:05 am

Those search terms are hilarious. I used to love seeing how people found my blog but for some reason when I started self hosting, I don’t have that feature anymore. :-(

I hate not remembering dreams. I wake up wanting to tell my husband and then within a minute, it’s gone.

  6. March 11, 2011 11:08 am

Hahaha, I about died of laughter at those search terms! Too funny.

Katie’s cake batter shake looks awesome! I’ve been wanting to try it.

Question, did you recently make it so your posts are just summaries on Google Reader? Like, I used to be able to read it straight from my Reader, but now it’s just a summary. You have to come to your blog to read the post. It’s totally cool either way, but I was just wondering if you did that, and how to do it. :) I kinda want to do the same thing.

    • March 11, 2011 11:53 am

I honestly don’t even know how Google Reader works! But I was fiddling around with the feed settings in WordPress. I went to Settings > Reading and then “for each article in a feed, show” and clicked Summary. Hope that helps!

  7. March 11, 2011 1:20 pm

hehe, search terms are so funny. I’m going to follow you on twitter, yay!

  8. March 11, 2011 4:49 pm

  11. March 11, 2011 6:15 pm

Haha that last one is hilarious!!! Kind of creepy though. Most of mine have been pretty normal so far.
I hate when I forget my dreams! Especially when they’re really weird and I go to tell someone about it, but it kind of fails as a good story because I can barely remember it.

    • March 12, 2011 1:56 pm

You use Blogger, right? WordPress has a bunch of features where you can track your stats, page views, searches and comments, but Blogger doesn’t have them! I was on Blogger for 2 years and, trust me, WordPress is a lot better! Maybe you want to make the switch?
